| Terms and Conditions: The terms and conditions set forth herein are the sole contract between Happy Landing Travel dba Discount Charter Vacations.com located at 910 Presque Isle Plaza, Route 286, Pittsburgh, PA 15239 and you, the traveler(s). Payments for airline, charter vacation and/or tour packages are accepted by Happy Landing Travel with the understanding that you and those traveling with you have been made aware of, and agree to all terms and conditions of this agreement prior to sending us deposit or final payment monies or a credit card authorization form. Happy Landing Travel acts only as an agent in capacity for air carriers, hotels, tour operators, and other suppliers of services and shall not be held responsible for any injury or for any loss or damage caused by accident or event beyond their control, or by any action or negligence of attendants or third parties who are not in their employ. Happy Landing Travel can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in air, sea or other services, sickness, weather, strike, war, quarantine or other causes. The right is reserved to make adjustments to the itinerary. Prices are based on current tariffs and exchange rates are subject to adjustments in the event of any change therein. The right is reserved to accept or decline any member of the tour. No refund will be made for unused portion of the tour unless arrangements were made before departure from gateway city. The issuance of acceptance of voucher or ticket shall be deemed to be consent to the above conditions. The passenger ticket in use by said airlines when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and the purchaser of these tickets and/or traveler. Baggage: Each passenger has baggage allowance of 70 pounds, not exceeding 2 check-in pieces. Each passenger may take 1 carry-on which must fit under seat or overhead compartment. Cancellation (1): Your deposit with Happy Landing Travel / Discount Charter Vacations.com is fully refundable up until the date that your final Payment is due, which is 45-60 days prior to departure depending on the tour operator used. Cancellation must be received in writing via certified mail and arrive at our agency within the following time frames: - 45 to 15 days prior to departure $100.00 per person will be withheld
- 15 days to day of departure - no refund.
- No shows - no refund.
During holiday periods full payment is typically due 60 days prior to departure and cancellation policies are stricter. Processing of refunds take 4 to 6 weeks after departure date. The above cancellation policy is subject to certain additional charges within the 45 to 15 day policy based on hotel rules and regulations. After departure from home to your vacation, there will be no refund for any unused portion including fees for hotels, tour companies, pre-purchased excursions or airlines services. Cancellation (2): must be in writing. We highly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance to protect your valuable investment. If you decline Insurance, you must sign the insurance waiver on this Credit Card Authorization form. Below, you will see the reasons you may cancel trip without incurring a penalty. - Sudden and unexpected illness, of you, or an immediate family member.
- Death of any immediate family member, prior to departure, including en route to airport.
- Broken Limbs, (arms, leg, etc.)
- Jury Duty, Subpoena
- Accident, including en route to the airport
Cancellation Penalties: To receive the benefits of any of the above options, you must notify us of the cancellation before the tour departs and written proof must accompany reasons 1 to 5 (Doctor's note, Police Report, Copy of Court Documents). Late Fees: We must receive your final payment at least 50 days prior to your vacation departure date, otherwise a $25 per person late fee will be added to the balance due. Necessary Documentation: Travel to most Caribbean Islands and foreign countries requires U.S. citizens to carry proper proof of citizenship. Such documents can include your original or notarized birth certificate, with a raised seal, plus a state issued photo ID, your driver's license, current passport or voters registration card with photo. A passport is optional, but always preferred. It is your responsibility to research and supply the proper documents needed before going to any foreign country. There is a risk that the you can be denied boarding or denied entry back into the USA if proper documents are not presented. Passengers denied boarding because of inadequate documentation of citizenship will receive no refund. Refunds: There are NO REFUNDS for unused amenities, excursions, meals or services. Any changes in hotel reservations, car rentals, or tours will incur a charge of $25.00 per supplier. All travelers are required to have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months after the departure date. OPTION ONE: - There will be no refund if the cancellation is received less than 14 days prior to departure.
- If received 14 to 21 days 50% before departure, ???% plus supplier penalties.
- f received 21 to 30 days before departure ??? penalty plus any supplier penalties.
- If received 30 days or more $50 before departure, ??? plus any supplier penalties.
OPTION TWO: Travel Insurance: (Recommended) Travel insurance costs extra, but can provide you with peace of mind in the event that an emergency forces you to cancel your trip. Travel insurance provides you with financial protection if your trip is cancelled, interrupted or delayed due to certain qualifying events. Trip interruption, trip delay, baggage delay, medical emergency while on vacation , accidental death and dismemberment and a 24-hour emergency hotline service are also available by purchasing a more comprehensive insurance policy. Policies are available at two levels: basic and advanced. Happy Landing Travel will provide you with a copy of the insurance policy the you select and description of services, insurance benefits /service limits, including restrictions, limitations and exclusions. Happy Landing Travel / Discount Charter Vacations.com can provide you with an insurance application or additional travel insurance information upon request. Differing types of travel insurance policies and coverage is available from various insurance companies (none affiliated with Happy Landing Travel). Happy Landing Travel recommends that you consider the Trip Purchase Protection insurance offered by ??? a leading company in the field. Below is a brief summary of the financial protection provided by ??? if your trip is cancelled, interrupted or delayed for reasons, such as: Sickness, injury or death affecting you, your family members or your traveling companion. - Financial default of airline, cruise line or tour operator resulting in the complete cessation of services or filing of bankruptcy. Excluded is the organization from which you purchased this coverage.
- Unforeseen circumstances, such as:* Inclement weather* Termination of employment or layoff affecting you or your traveling companion. Must have been with that same employer for at least 5 continuous years.* Acts of Terrorism.* Organized labor strike that affects public transportation.
Excluded are carrier-caused delays or cancellations, personal financial circumstances, business or contractual obligations, government regulations, or change of plans. Travel Insurance Coverage- Trip Cancellation
- reimburses your pre-paid non-refundable cancellation charges for covered reasons, up to the amount of coverage purchased. - Trip Interruption
- reimburses your pre-paid unused, non-refundable portion of your trip payment, plus the cost of returning home, up to the amount of coverage purchased. - Trip Delay
- reimburses you up to $200 a day to a total of $600 for reasonable additional accommodations and traveling expenses until travel is possible, if your trip is delayed more than 6 hours. Payable for only one delay for all insured's. Receipts required for proof of loss. Included are carrier-caused delays. - Baggage Protection

- $10,000 Medical Expense Benefit - pays any medical expenses within one year of any injury or sickness occurring on your trip provided initial treatment was received during the trip. Emergency dental treatment by a licensed dentist only during your trip.
- $20,000 Emergency Medical Transportation Benefit - pays for transportation ordered by a doctor to the nearest adequate medical facility. * Pays airfare from that facility to your return destination within one year from original completion date.* Pays up to $5,000 for special medical escort if recommended in writing by a doctor.
- $25,000 Accidental Death/Dismemberment Benefit - pays for loss of life or limb within 365 days resulting from an accident during your trip
